Blog Journal #6

 1. My initial experience with Diigo was that I was interested. I have never used a site/software that looks like it so far. However, figuring out how to use the annotation and sticky note tool was fun! I will say that the video provided doesn't match my computer, so I was confused at first, but it's easy to figure out. I like that you can put tags on your post so people know what's relevant in it.

2. My experience with blogging is mostly limited to this class. I like the idea of a blog for food reviewers or a diary, but I've never had a use for it. With the blogging process I've learned how to use Blogger and Diigo, which could be used by me as a future teacher one day. I don't know how people get their blogs to be popular though. I like that people can leave comments on blogs and posts.

3. Zoom is a very popular Web 2.0 software application used in schools. As a teacher, this could be very useful for getting in contact with parents that may not be able to make it to the school physcially. Altneratively, remote teachers can use Zoom to teach class and reach students. Teachers can use Zoom to create rooms for their students to join in order to get extra credit, ask questions, or work on group projects. I have used Zoom throughout high school and college for both school and medical reasons, and I find it to be a reliable software.

  1. Hey! Other than writing in my journal, most of my blogging experience was done in this class too. Actually, I didn't create my first blog until this class, and th same would go for using Diigo and Blogger. I'm glad I got introduced to these sites as soon as I did because I feel like they would be pretty useful in my future career.
