 1. Instagram has always been a useful tool for my PLN. It's an app that many other college studetns have, so I am able to get in contact with group members and peers for various assignments and resources. For this class I have been using Instagram to follow some classmates and trending teacher accounts. Twitter could be useful for coming across teaching resources and information. As a teacher, Twitter could also be useful for finding current news and protests to attend.

2. The digital divide is a very serious problem that affects many students nationwide. Not all students have access to computers, laptops, phones, or internet in general. This can make it very difficult to complete homework at home, access textbooks, study, and contact others. A major cause of the digital divide is poverty, which is then exacerbated by the digital divide as more privileged students use their resources and disadvantaged students fall behind. As a classroom teacher, I would like to make my classroom as accessible as possible. I will offer paper alternatives to assignments and order some paper versions of the textbooks for students to take home and bring back.

3. One software I would absolutely like to use as a teacher is Google Classroom. I have a lot of experience using Google Classroom in k-12 myself, and know how easy it is to use. It works like Canvas by organizing classes, assignments, and peers. I also found a software called Chalk that is free and provides automatic attendance management and analytics reports for individual class data, which could be useful for spotting trends and saving time.
